Pastor of Restoration Ministry

I love God foremost, then church, family, community. I can only live through my faith in God.
Brinda Parrish is a native of the historical African American town, Mound Bayou, MS. She owes her Christian foundation to her grandparents who she resided with during most of her childhood. She confessed her faith in Christ and was baptized at age 9. She moved to Virginia in 1977 and now resides in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
She is the mother of 4 daughters, Tory Parrish, Erica Parrish, Adrian Foy, and Jordan Foy, and son Jeffrey Foy. In May of 1977, she graduated from Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi, here she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. In the 90's Brinda Parrish experienced a life-altering transformation in her life.
In 1996 she dedicated her life to Christ. In 1998 she accepted her call into ministry. Reverend Brinda C. Parrish was ordained April 4, 2000, at Open Door Holy Tabernacle, in Triangle, V.A. under Bishop John Porter and Pastor Ronald McGriff. In May 2006 Reverend Parrish graduated from Virginia Union University with a Master of Divinity Degree in Theology.
In 1999 Rev. Parrish received her mediation certification from NOVA Mediation Services of George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia and became a certified mediator. Rev. Parrish is the founder of Restoration Ministry, which held its first service on June 4, 2006. She has been the pastor for 18 years. She is a teacher and preacher of the gospel. Rev. Parrish was awarded the Outstanding Community Service Award in
November 2014, for her humanitarian dedication.
In 2002 she and her sister Deborah Berry created "My Sister's Shoulder" for women struggling with overwhelming life issues. Pastor Parrish helped to design Great Start, a ministry of hope & support for youth, that offers Biblical teaching, mentoring, tutoring, and school supplies. This year our first graduate began his junior year at Rust University in Holly Springs, MS. The 2024 graduate began her freshman year at Old Dominion University in Virginia Beach, VA
Pastor Parrish is currently a member of the National Coalition of Black Women- Prince William County Chapter. She is also a member of the Stafford Pastor's Coalition.
She is currently attending Regent University where she is in her final year pursuing her
masters in elementary ed. Rev. Parrish is blessed to be in her third year of teaching
